This past weekend, I watched “Olympus Has Fallen.” Wow, pretty violent flick showing terrorists taking over the White House. If you like a good “shoot ‘em up” this is your movie. In case you haven’t seen it, I’ll leave it at that.
Watching the action unfold on the screen, I got to thinking how marketing these days, especially the moving picture format we use at AdToons, really blends the lines of entertainment and engagement with the message being advertised.
Let me explain…
When you look at how a movie is created, they start with a script.
Then it moves to the storyboard phase.
And then production and, at the end, final production.
This is our process for creating your AdToons promotional videos.
Gone are the days of boring PowerPoint videos.
Gone are the days of setting up a little camera in your office and doing a “talking head” video.
Gone are the days of animated text flying across the screen.
No. To reach your prospects and paint the picture of what their future can be using your product or service, you simply must draw it out for them.
And you can’t forget that you must entertain and engage them through the use of uniquely-developed visual stories.
Our competitors use a Photoshop® hand to reveal bland stock illustrations. It’s cheaper, but a much less effective route.
We do the opposite. Each scene in an AdToons video is hand-crafted to tell the ultimate visual story. Your business’s story.
We recently did a piece for the National Speakers Association… and they had a very interesting story to tell. They recently celebrated their 40th anniversary. Amazing. And it all started with one dynamic founder and his vision to create a ground-breaking professional organization.
Back to my point…
People these days don’t want to be bored to death with boring text- based or talking head videos.
People want to be entertained and engaged.
Visuals – like the ones we create in AdToons – do this.
PowerPoint® videos do not.
And all those “cheapo” videos that simply use stock “art” are nothing more than glorified PowerPoint presentations with the illusion that someone is drawing. These aren’t movies, they are fragmented puzzle pieces all strung together.
With the approach we follow with AdToons you get more than just visuals and vignettes. Every single element is connected to tell the best story and present the most effective message about your product or service to your prospects.
Going back to my earlier discussion of movies… it’s like how great movies have great transitions from scene to scene. In fact, my team and I study a lot of films to get very good at this technique.
The bottom line is that we are past the discussion on why you should use marketing videos on your website. With YouTube as the #2 most highly-searched site online, it’s a no-brainer. And the days of boring text-based sites are long gone.
So you have to use video. You might as well use Marketing Movies like AdToons.
