So you have a startup…ever consider a doodle video for that?
Last week I had the great pleasure to golf with DeShone Kizer, the former Notre Dame quarterback and NFL player with the Browns, Packers, and Raiders.
He’s super sharp. He told me that while he waits for the season to begin, he is making progress on a unique business idea.
His business idea is fairly complex and, while he did share it with me in between shots, I can’t go into details of what it is. I’m sworn to secrecy, and I’d never break a promise to a fellow pro ball player.
I can tell you that it has amazing profit potential. Although, putting my marketer’s hat on, I did feel compelled to offer him some suggestions for best presenting his idea to others, especially possible investors.
An alternative idea to the traditional way
I said: “Love the idea DeShone. Now you need a tool to help communicate with your investors so they are crystal clear on the business. That will ensure that your conversations will be more productive and fruitful.”
I told him that this introductory story could be done in 2 1/2 minutes… compared to 30 minutes (we were in a slow foursome) it took him to explain it to me. This could be done with a doodle video.
As you’ve probably guessed, an AdToons doodle video is a key part of that new approach.
Through the years, we have helped several funded startups. The link below takes you to a few of the many AdToons we have created. These videos (Below) will give you ideas on how to position your startup.
Here are four main reasons why doodle video works so well for startups:
- The business idea takes form – it extracts the vision from your head and turns it into a real thing
- You get clear consistent message every time
- Many tasks need your attention when your business is starting out; these videos “duplicate” you, so you can get the idea in front of more people automatically
- This is shareable content investors and others can pass around
No Matter What Stage You Are In
Obviously, it takes capital to bring your vision to life. Investing in video marketing like this pays off no matter what stage you are in.
If you are just starting off, it can be the video you present to a room full of potential investors.
If you are in the middle of planning your launch, don’t leave AdToons out of it, even if you think you’re not ready.
Many entrepreneurs think they need everything in place before they launch: marketing campaigns, ads, videos… the works. But nothing could be further from the truth. The time is always now to start getting your message out.
Would you rather have a thousand people knocking at your door launch day or two people? Getting started early, in some way, can make the difference.
Look at movie trailers, for example. Promotion starts a full year in advance. Teaser videos are made to “create thirst” for the next Marvel or Star Wars movie well before the premier.
I hear all the time from newbies. Well, we are working on our website. When that is done in three months, we will call you back to work on a doodle video.
Uhm, hello.
This is not the way to do it. That’s three months of potential customers lost.
Get Going Yesterday, Mate!
A simple landing page can be created in ClickFunnels (in two hours tops) that drives people onto a waiting list; you get the emails of interested buyers.
A Facebook business page can be created in even less time.
There are no excuses as to why you can’t start building your following so you can successfully launch your startup business today.
The AdToons doodle video duplicates you and places you on every corner of the internet, getting the word out
In fact, many entrepreneurs have used their AdToons doodle video to gauge whether the idea has legs to stand on. to see if the rest of the world thinks their idea is valid and worth signing up for.
The last thing you want is to realize after months and years of preparation is that no one gives darn about your precious prize.
Fail Fast or Have a Blast – Launching Your Doodle Video
You’ve heard of the phrase, “Fail Fast!” Developing a doodle video allows you to fail fast or to see if the message needs to be tweaked along the way. Come launch time, you’ll have your ducks in a row – ready to go.
Given this, if you are launching a business, or if your company is adjusting to the times and developing a new service for customers and clients, then run over to this page and let’s line up time to chat.
So doodle videos are of interest to you…
Get the momentum rolling. Run over here to line up time to position your start-up for success.
