Many of you were curious how the video turned out of the Neopor product that we created.
Well, here is a sample draft for your review. We are in the final stages of launching it. I have placed the script our client came to the party with not too long ago (Below). By watching the home improvement whiteboard animation you will be able to see what the AdToons team generated for a script and visual presentation.
Notice how we use a fun loving character like a seal to help tell our client’s story in this home improvement whiteboard animation. Notice how strong that fun loving character outlines the difference between regular insulation and the higher quality, Neopor. Pretty awesome stuff. But I’m a bit partial. 🙂
“Did you know you could take energy savings in your home to the next level with a material called Neopor?”
Premium products made from Neopor provide more insulation value than products made from traditional white EPS.
You may be wondering how exactly Neopor works. Building science tells us that warm air is always trying to move towards cool air. In a home, that heat moves across the uninsulated wooden studs in your wall.
During the winter, warm air you heat inside escapes across the studs in the to the cold outdoors, as you can see in this thermal image.
The reverse is true during the summer, when the warm air outside the home moves towards the air-conditioned space inside.
When you add rigid insulation to the outside of a home, the transfer of heat is slowed down, making your home more energy-efficient.
This insulation works because at a microscopic level it contains millions of tiny air pockets. Trapped air is great for slowing down the transfer of heat, giving insulation its energy-efficient property.
Although the heat is significantly slowed with this kind of insulation, some of it still finds the most direct way to get to the cool air.
Neopor is different because it is infused with graphite particles.
The graphite causes radiant heat to be reflected hundreds of times as it tries to move through the insulation. This slows down the transfer of heat more than other insulations, making Neopor more energy-efficient.
Think of the warm air as a man walking from point A to point B.
If he is able to walk in a straight line, the same way that heat moves through EPS, he will get to his destination much faster than if he had to take many turns and detours along the way.
This is what happens with Neopor as it reflects radiant heat over and over again as it passes through the insulation.
Although Neopor is relatively new to the United States, it has been used extensively in Europe for decades.
It is able to provide greater insulation value than EPS, with the same amount of material. And it is typically more cost-effective than XPS products on a cost per r-value basis.

Can you see the AdToons difference? Can you feel the AdToons difference?
Okay, that’s all for now. Tune in next time for a tip to get your customers to come back for more – more often.
