Over the years I’ve talked with a lot of people about marketing – visual marketing, in particular, because that’s my area of expertise. Often, they tell me that they’re not visual people, so that what I do doesn’t apply to them.
Or so they think.
If you feel the same way, I’ll admit that it may not apply to YOU. However, we have another person to consider here.
Your prospect.
Just like their are different learning styles, there are different forms of communication people enjoy receiving.
More on that in a bit. But first, let me tell you a story from my trip last weekend to Fort Meigs, site of a battle in the War of 1812.
While in the museum, I noticed a sign that read:
“What affects you most? Objects or words?”
This brings up a great question for your marketing.
What do people connect with more: the written word or pictures?
An even better question: Why connect with people only one way?
The #1 rule in marketing is that doing something only ONE way is very limiting. One form of payment, one promo message, one way of connecting with prospects. Not good.
So why not have more than one way to connect with your prospects? Text and visuals, video and audio. And why not combine all the above into one message?
One way to save some shekels and utilize the power of AdToons at the same time is to do a hybrid video. It’s a mix of a traditional AdToons video and PowerPoint.
These videos are hypnotic because they’re a mixture of text and cartoons. Prospects watch these types of videos and are just as mesmerized. You also reach both audiences: those who feel they connect more with text and those who prefer visuals.
Not to mention you have a very cool format for your sales promotion.
